"Qweekly" Reviews #2

Hey guys, so this is my second installment for the weekly lazy reviews. Check it out below!

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004; Adam McKay)- This is quite possibly my favorite Will Ferrell film. This film has it all, a good story, performances that really shines the cast and funny lines that makes this movie memorable. 4.5/5

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006; Adam McKay)- Yes another Ferrell film and my second favorite Ferrell film (I really love Will Ferrell comedies, if that isn't too obvious yet). I have the almost same reason from what I said from above, with great cast and lines, comes a great movie. 4/5

Funny People (2009; Judd Apatow)- I love watching a somewhat mature comedies because it is way to show a person and even a comedian can be a douche and this film shows it, but despite the great story and gags, it became dragging at times. But I would like to thank Eric Bana for saving the third half of this film. 3.5/5

Dogma (1999; Kevin Smith)- Possibly one of the most creative, offensive and out-of-this world comedy I've ever seen. Some people will see this as very offensive especially to the Catholics, but despite being one I got to admit that I had fun watching this movie, you just don't have to take it seriously for not to be offended that's all. 4/5

Bernie (2012; )- A very dark comedy but delivers a very good drama too. Jack Black displays one of his best performance since Dewey Finn and also Mathew McConaughey and Shirley McLaine was just amazing in here. Despite my praises though, I still have my issues with this film, like the story felt short and some things were not told properly or was rushed. 3/5

Well that's what I have this week for my lazy reviews and it's full of comedies (the other films which I saw will be posted in full review some time this day/week). Thanks for reading and please share what you've watched the past week down below and let me know. Remember "If you ain't first, you're last."
